Kristen’s roots run deep throughout the Triangle, having been raised in Holly Springs, later attending Appalachian State University, and now back in Raleigh where you can catch her in the afternoons with Jim Kelly on MIX 101.5.

She has a big heart for animals of all kinds and will eventually end up adopting them all if no one stops her. Don’t ask her anything about sportsball, but if you want to talk music that’ll probably be a much more productive conversation.

Kristen enjoys hiking, reading, running, checking out live music and trying new local restaurants.
