What do you like best about North Carolina?  Besides the weather? 2 hours to the beach!

Favorite books?  In the midst of THE HUNGER GAMES TRILOGY right now (can’t wait for the movie)…fan of James Patterson books.

What’s the first thing you notice about people?  What radio station they are listening to!

What did you do before radio?  1st job…flippin’ burgers at Wendy’s (did that through high school)…then worked at a shoe store during college…brief stint at a record store (remember those?!?)…then it was radio

What was your most memorable interview?  Memorable “bad” would be an interview I did with the Goo Goo Dolls. I was a lowly overnight guy. My station was putting on this big concert, bunch of acts on the bill. It was time for the Goo Goo Dolls to be interviewed before they hit the stage. Unfortunately, the “big time DJs” were nowhere around so I got thrown into the interview room with Johnny and Robby from the band TOTALLY unprepared. The guys saw what was happening and had fun at my expense…wouldn’t give me a straight answer to any question I asked. I can look back and laugh at it now but at the time I was horrified about how bad it was. I learned my lesson to always be prepared because you just never know.

What would you do with one million dollars?  If I had a million dollars? In the immortal words of BNL “I’d be rich!” I would like to think I would be smart about it. Family would be first and foremost…I would make sure all my kids were taken care of. My son has cerebral palsy so I would want to see that his needs are taken care of when I’m dead and gone. Donate to non-profits that have helped my son through his life.

What’s your favorite part about working in radio?  The music…that is what attracted me to the business to begin with. For better or for worse, I get to open the mic everyday and just be myself for 4 hours and play music that I dig. I feel very fortunate to be doing a job that I love.

What’s the first thing you do in the morning when you wake up?  Grab a cup of coffee!

What’s your favorite food?  Lasagna…Reece’s Peanut Butter Cups…Fondue at The Melting Pot

How many pairs of shoes do you currently own?  12.  How many do a wear on a regular basis? 4…oops…Was this Lynda only question?

Do you have a favorite sports team?  College basketball…Xavier University Musketeers

Where is the furthest you’ve ever traveled? West…Tempe, AZ, East…Wrightsville Beach, North…Boston, South…St. Thomas, USVI
