The City of Raleigh invites you to attend the launch of its nonprofit capacity building initiative, PROJECT LIFT: Let’s Impact our Future Together. Staff, board members and volunteers from community-based and faith-based organizations are invited to attend this all day capacity building conference. Participants will be able to choose their choice of 15 workshops on topics that will help you increase your organization’s effectiveness in the community. During a catered lunch, participants will hear from Denise Tawwab, Founder & CEO of NC Connected, Inc. as she shares her insights on the triumphs and challenges of working in the nonprofit sector. At the end of the day, be sure to join us for a networking fair where you will have the opportunity to meet one another and learn about the services available to the nonprofit community offered by local businesses, colleges & universities and consultants. Cost of attendance is $35.00 and includes a catered lunch, refreshments and materials throughout the day.
