The 2013 StrollerThon, presented by Women’s Health Alliance, is a fundraiser and a celebration of families and mothers. Proceeds from this event benefit Postpartum Education and Support, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the emotional wellness of mothers. Individuals of all ages are welcome to participate in StrollerThon – no stroller required!
The two-mile walk will be held at Bond Park in Cary. An out-and-back loop, the walk begins at the Boathouse, continues around Lake Trail, and at the Greenway circles back around to finish on the Lake Trail.
Registration will be held at the Kiwanis Picnic Shelter. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and StrollerThon walk begins at 9:00 a.m. Parking is free and plentiful.
Stay until 11:30 to enjoy entertainment, children’s games, face-painting, food and exhibit tables hosted by family-related businesses, health care providers and local organizations related to birth and postpartum care. Raffle tickets will be for sale in advance and throughout the morning, with the first prize being a Bumbleride Indie Stroller! Other prizes include Carolina Hurricanes tickets and a spa gift basket.
