The ‘;Works!: July 4th, 2012 on Fayetteville Street

Jul 4, 2012 12:00pm - 10:00pm

What’s more all-American than being a pioneer? For the first time, Downtown Raleigh will be the one and only host of the City’s Fourth of July fireworks extravaganza.

As the skies light up, you’ll find an exciting new world of entertainment, great eats and cool drinks throughout downtown. Independence Day isn’t just about nighttime anymore. Family attractions such as bounce houses, eating contests and more start up at noon. Bands crank up at 4pm, with the fireworks taking center stage once darkness falls around 9:30.

Plus, Sir Walter declares there will be plenty of parking and easy access in and out.

Stay tuned to this page for more details. We’ve already got your basics covered this all-star, all-American celebration:

When: July 4, noon to 10pm

What: Fireworks will light up the sky over The Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts starting at around 9:30pm.
